Qualifications/Profession 

After a long & successful career in the Motor Industry stretching over 29 years supplying the Motor Trade with Parts for just about every type of car & van manufactured, starting from the shop floor & working up to owning my own Parts Supplier covering Doncaster, Retford & the surrounding areas. I later moved back working for Major International Company as Branch Manager with responsibility for the Huddersfield Branch before gaining total responsibility for two Branches, one in Halifax the other in Bradford with a joint annual turnover in excess of £1.5 million, this finally came to an end in 2003 when through illness which lead to disability I had no option but to retire early.

f) RSC Representative @ Bassetlaw Swim Action Group Meetings

Unfortunately due to health problems I'm unable to attend as many Galas at Retford or on the road to watch everyone compete as I used to do or able to help out as often as I used to but if there I still try to enjoy them.

Best recent memories:

1) Gala Win at Newark when the Team took 1st place & Won the Sports Centre League with Promotion to the Top Division for 2012.

2) Sports Centre League Gala at Worksop when the Team again took 1st place, winning the first Gala of the New Season, surprising some of the Top Teams in Nottinghamshire.

Interests outside Club

I enjoy spending time with Julie, Matt, Dave & Keri at the Coast or in the Country & escaping to some of our favourite areas throughout England & Scotland watching the various types of wildlife, I especially enjoyed watching them enjoy the many rides & thrills at Alton Towers. I have a passion for Boats, Water & the Sea; I like watching Football (Manchester United, Sheffield Wednesday & Doncaster Rovers) & Motor Sport (F1, Rallying plus the Isle of Man TT) plus Computers, Websites & Internet.
