C & G Higher Professional Diploma in Sport & Recreation Management.  ISRM Sport & Recreation Management Certificate in Sport & Recreation Management.   ASA Tutor, Club Coach, Advanced Teacher.  RLSS Trainer/Assessor in Lifesaving & Lifeguarding.

Club/Swimming Background

First became involved in 1982 when my eldest son joined Retford Swimming Club.  I became active on the poolside in 1987 and was appointed chief coach in 1992 and started coaching Bassetlaw Swim Squads (B and Development) and working in the Sports Development Unit.  Resigned as chief coach in 1998 and kindly given honorary membership.  Continued coaching for BSS until 2000 when I decided to take the opportunity to work and gain more experience in facility operations.  I have continued to be involved in swimming albeit more of a strategic and management role. 

Other Interests 

I don’t have a great deal of time but enjoy being with my grandchildren whenever I can.  I also escape at any opportunity to my caravan where I enjoy reading and generally chilling!!
